My account still has a 2000mb quote on the side, we'll see how that works out. MSN decided to give out free 2gb email addresses. However you must sign up through MSN Explorer. Run MSN Explorer (http://downloads-zdnet.com.com/3000-2104-10119669.html?tag=tid if you dont have it), follow the instructions to create a new account (pick 'I already have internet Access'). Click the mail icon (make sure you click it in MSN Explorer, not Internet Explorer), and you will find yourself with a 2gb email address @msn.com. Update: No POP3 Service, but you can open the account through Outlook/Outlook Express using the following directions: 1. Click Tools and then click E-mail Accounts. 2. Under E-mail, click Add a new e-mail account, fill in the following two dialog boxed 3. On the Server Type dialog, select HTTP. Select OTHER as the service provider. 4. Use this as the incoming mail server: http://oe.msn.msnmail.hotmail.com/cgi-bin/hmdata 5. Click Next and then click Finished. - Verified by Impact (impactdni@msn.com) Note: There is an 8 character minimum for password. Once the account is created, log in from hotmail, click "options" in the upper right corner, and you can change it to a 6 character minimum.
